Job Profile
We are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Professional to join our Special Care Nursery team on a part-time basis.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of excellent standard of evidence-based, patient-centred care.
* Demonstrate professional practice as evidenced by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements and Healthscope's policies and processes.
* Foster a learning environment through clinical presentations to support the nursing team with their professional development and maintaining own professional learning and continuous professional development and providing supervision and teaching to peers, ENs, graduates and students.
* Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices.
* Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive a high quality of care across the healthcare continuum.
* Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes.
Key Requirements:
* AHPRA registration.
* Experience within an acute environment.
* Team leader or in-charge nursing experience (desirable).
* Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
* Ability to work within a team environment.
* Passion for teaching, educating and up-skilling staff in cardiac operating theatres.
