About the Role:
Our almond orchard in South Australia requires an experienced professional to oversee financial and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Foster a positive culture, adhere to values, and prioritize safety.
* Support the manager in optimizing cost-efficiency and operational effectiveness.
* Lead staff and contractors to achieve safety and performance goals.
* Develop and manage annual and long-range budgets.
* Produce monthly/quarterly financial reports, cash-flow forecasts, and variance analysis.
* Oversee compliance, tax, insurance, funding, and regulatory requirements.
* Manage HR, payroll, creditors, debtors, and internal controls.
* Maintain policies, risk controls, and document compliance.
* Build and maintain relationships across all levels of the business.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
* Strong work ethic, integrity, professionalism, solution-focused, excellent verbal and written skills, effective, and efficient.
* High proficiency in Xero, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
