We are seeking a Lecturer in Social Work to join the School of Public Health and Social Work, Faculty of Health.
The Lecturer in Social Work will work with a team of highly experienced academic and field work practitioners, within the wider School of Public Health and Social Work. The position will contribute to postgraduate and undergraduate teaching in the Master of Social Work and the Bachelor of Social Work and Bachelor of Human Services programs.

What you need to succeed
Completion of a doctoral qualification in relevant discipline area, and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
Proven ability to effectively embed and deliver critical approaches to learning and teaching, including the innovative use of digital technologies and authentic assessment, resulting in quality student outcomes.
Detailed understanding of critical theory and practice orientation as it applies to Social Work.
Demonstrated success at developing internal and external partnerships that support and extend teaching and research.
Successful track record of independent research, and track record of publishing original research.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to work collegially and cooperatively in a team environment.
