AIR6500 is the Royal Australian Air Force's ~$3 billion Joint Air Battle Management System (JABMS) program. It will deliver a highly integrated, networked "system of systems" that synchronises air and missile defence operations across joint and coalition environments, significantly enhancing situational awareness and decision-making speed.
The Role
Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to provide leadership over the subcontracts and procurement portfolio across the AIR6500 program lifecycle. This role is responsible for the successful delivery of complex subcontracts and procurement scope encompassing advanced software, hardware and integrated systems, while supporting Australian Industry Capability outcomes.

Key Duties
* Develop supply chain and strategic partner strategies which deliver optimal outcomes for the program and help capture further work.
* Provide leadership over subcontract design, negotiation, execution, management and change.
* Partner with engineering and project management to deliver outcomes in accordance with project cost and schedule requirements.
* Act as the control account manager for outsourced scope, managing materials and labour budgets and well as supply chain schedule performance.
* Lead the strategy for on-time procurement of goods and services to support the program and feed production / integration activities, including identify and delivering initiatives for enhance value for money.
* Manage supply chain risks.
* Partner with engineering on the maturation of bill of materials to enable on-time procurement in a complex design and integration program.
* Integrate Australian Industry Capability requirements into supplier selection and execution.
* Lead, mentor, coach and develop capability within team.
* Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Experience
* Demonstrated experience managing supply chain, subcontracts, procurement activities in a complex project environment.
* Demonstrated ability to build strong, collaborative supplier relationships.
* Leadership experience within multidisciplinary program environments.
* Experience working in the Defence Industry
Desirable Experience
* Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Systems Engineering or Project Management.
* Exposure to agile project methodologies.
* Experience with complex systems integration projects.
