Our mission is to create solutions that help keep children safe online. We are a purpose driven business, operating globally and utilising technology to protect children from seeing harmful content.
We have a global user base in the tens of millions and our solutions are used by schools, school districts and their parental communities to ensure teachers maintain focus and safe learning in the digital classroom.
We're hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Global SRE team — the group responsible for owning the reliability and observability of our software.
Key Responsibilities
* Work using a DevOps mindset to help teams adopt observability best practices, manage Infrastructure as Code, and be first responders in our Critical Incident Process.
* Help teams understand their pain points and design practical solutions that remove friction and improve the reliability of their products.
You will work closely with our global engineering team to deliver tech with purpose, and use your skills, knowledge and ideas to help children stay safe online.
What You'll Need
* 5 years experience operating cloud platforms and services at scale.
* Experience managing Kubernetes and associated tooling in production.
* Knowledge of good monitoring and alerting practices, and experience of handling on-call rotations and pages for production systems.
Other skills we value include experience with load balancers, firewalls, and networking administration and infrastructure management, delivering software end-to-end and managing it in production, familiarity with microservice architectures and debugging distributed systems.
Why Choose Us
* Employee Share Scheme.
* Additional leave days.
* Tech Allowance (to help fund a great WFH setup).
* Technical study groups and veterans to learn from.
As an Engineer here, your work truly matters. You'll get to work on solving problems for a global engineering team, exposed to modern technologies and processes, in a fast-paced and supportive learning environment.
