Responsibilities
The Atlassian Advisory Services team is a globally distributed group of Atlassian experts focused on customer success. Advisory Services team members engage with large strategic and enterprise organizations to deliver solutions that maximize the value of Atlassian products. As a Solution Consultant with an ITSM focus, you will join the Advisory Services Delivery team as an individual contributor (not a manager). You will provide technical guidance that aligns product capabilities with business needs and outcomes, and help customers realize the value of their Atlassian investment.
 * Collaborate with peers in Advisory Services to align on strategic outcomes that deliver exceptional service to customers
 * Partner with customers to solve business challenges and achieve internal goals through Atlassian products, practices, and solutions
 * Identify and promote opportunities for service and product expansion within a client's organization
 * Cultivate deep industry and solution expertise, staying up-to-date with evolving best practices for different types of teams
 * Create technical solution content and prescriptive guidance to support customer goals in one or more Atlassian solution areas
 * Partner with non-customer-facing teams across Atlassian to advocate for customer needs and innovative solutions
 * Travel up to 30% domestically, and in some cases internationally, for internal and customer-facing events
Qualifications
Your background:
 * 2+ years of experience in customer-facing roles influencing stakeholders from technical administrators to executive leadership
 * Demonstrated expertise in ITSM, including:
 o Experience with popular ITSM products and Atlassian ecosystem that support enterprise-grade IT operations
 o Background in IT operations roles (e.g., request, asset, incident, problem, change, knowledge management)
 o Experience identifying, testing, deploying, and/or integrating ITSM tooling to meet customer requirements
Nice to have:
 * 4-6 years of experience within SaaS companies
 * Comfort coaching best practices and tailoring guidance for stakeholders
 * Experience working on cross-team projects with Sales, Product, Support, and other teams
 * Experience working with large customers in a consulting or technical expert capacity
 * Second language such as Japanese, Korean or Mandarin for business communication
