We are seeking an experienced Plan Management Officer (Invoice Support) to join our NDIS Plan Management Team in our Launceston Office.
The position
As a Plan Management Officer, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional financial support to NDIS participants. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Managing budgets, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments.
Reviewing invoices for adherence to NDIS Price Limits and guidelines
Providing remittances and monthly reports to clients and their providers.
Setting up new participant profiles, reviewing existing ones, and entering Service Agreements.
Troubleshooting issues related to payments and continuously improving our processes.
Responding to enquiries from participants and providers and acting as the initial point of contact when required.
Maintaining accurate data records and working closely with other team members to ensure the smooth running of the program.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You should have:
A quick learning ability, especially with new systems and procedures.
Top-notch interpersonal skills, with a friendly and empathetic approach when dealing with clients from diverse backgrounds.
A team-oriented attitude, ready to collaborate and help solve problems.
Great time management skills to meet deadlines and keep everything running smoothly.
Experience with data entry, accuracy, and proficiency with computer systems.
Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute with 98% accuracy.
An autonomous working style, with the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
While experience or knowledge of the NDIS is a plus, we welcome those eager to learn and grow with us.
This position is a Risk-Assessed role under the NDIS guidelines and will require a NDIS endorsement to be applied to your WWVP Clearance prior to the commencement of employment.
The organisation
The People Project Tasmania is a not-for-profit incorporated association contracted by the Australian and Tasmanian governments to recruit and retain general practitioners, nurses, and allied health professionals in Tasmania, with an emphasis on rural and remote communities. Our organisation is one of seven Rural Workforce Agencies funded by the Australian Government nationally. The People Project Tasmania also delivers the Health Workforce Scholarship Program and is a registered NDIS provider of Coordination of Supports and Plan Management.
The People Project Tasmania main office is in Launceston and the position is based within this office. The office has been fitted out with the latest technology and the greenery is multiplying by the day. What's on offer?
This role offers a salary of $57,131 to $68,517 p.a. (pro rata) plus access to Salary Packaging, boosting your take-home pay. The position is offered at a 0.8 to 1.0 FTE.
