Emmaus College is a proudly Catholic co‐educational College in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, established in 1980. The College operates over multiple campuses, at Vermont South, Vermont and Burwood. A Senior Campus for Years 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12 in Vermont South, a Junior Campus for K to Year 6 in Vermont South (1.8km from the Senior Campus) and a Year 9 Campus in Vermont (1.4km from the Senior Campus) and a VET Campus in Burwood.
English Teacher
Applications are invited from passionate and dedicated educators for the role of English Teacher (Years 8 and 10), commencing in Term 3 2026. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to fostering engaging and inclusive learning environments, inspire students to achieve their personal best, and contribute positively to the wider school community. Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a passion for English education are essential.
This is a part‐time 0.77 FTE fixed‐term position until the end of 2026. However, full‐time hours may be available for an appropriately qualified and suitable candidate. Graduates and Permission to Teach applicants are encouraged to apply.
