Specimen Collector and Laboratory Support Specialist
Central Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an experienced Specimen Collector and Laboratory Support Specialist to join our team in South Australia.
This dynamic role involves specimen collection, transport, and supporting laboratory operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for venepuncture (including pediatric collections), domiciliary visits, and the preparation and transport of biological specimens.
Key responsibilities include:
* Collecting and transporting biological specimens from various locations
* Preparing and handling biological samples for laboratory testing
* Providing a courteous reception and enquiry service to internal and external stakeholders
* Assisting in maintaining laboratory equipment and managing data entry
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in pathology, specimen collection, or laboratory support. A strong understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols is essential.

Required qualifications and skills:
* Experience in pathology, specimen collection, or laboratory support
* Ability to perform venepuncture and safely handle biological samples
* Strong communication and computer skills
* Working With Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Clearance (NPC)
