WHAT WE OFFER
- Casual Role: DIDO outage, located at Bayswater Power Station in Muswellbrook, NSW
- Project Dates: Staggered start dates from mid-September, running approximately until late-November
- Roster: Monday to Saturday, Days/Nights, 11-hour shifts
- Competitive Rate: EBA rates $59.98 p/h (including 25% casual loading) + OT Penalties (from base rate) + Project Uplift + Welder Uplift
- Other Benefits: Join a supportive team delivering Downer’s major Bayswater outage. LAFHA or Accommodation + Meal Allowance provided to distant workers
The Prospect
Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for casual Welders Special Class to deliver outage services for the Bayswater Power Station in Muswellbrook, NSW. Commencing early September 2025, Downer will be providing mechanical and project services throughout the outage supporting pressure piping replacements, ducting patch repair works, and damper installations.
ABOUT YOU
- Site Proficient: Experienced in outages and projects in the power generation or heavy industrial sector
- Team Oriented: Ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills
- Workplace Safety: Committed to safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
- Qualifications: Enter and work in confined spaces (RIIWHS202E), Working at heights (RIIWHS204E) (within 3 years), Construction white card, Rights to work in Australia
- Trade cert: Welding qualifications will complete an onsite weld test - VOC onsite
