STAFF ACCOMMODATION COORDINATOR (INSPECTIONS) - Hamilton Island
Hamilton Island is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accommodation Coordinator (Inspections) to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in ensuring that all staff accommodation is safe, clean, well-maintained and compliant with our high standards. You'll conduct inspections, report maintenance issues, and help ensure our staff community enjoys a comfortable home environment on one of Australia's most stunning island destinations.

Where you'll make an impact
* Conduct room and property inspections and prepare condition reports for check-outs
* Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, and safety hazards, ensuring repairs are completed
* Liaise with Housekeeping, Maintenance and external contractors to coordinate cleaning and restorative work
* Investigate damage or cleaning charges and coordinate reimbursement or cost recovery where required
* Conduct routine grounds and building inspections and ensure residents comply with Lodging Terms and Conditions
* Carry out weekly Health and Hygiene inspections and report findings to the Staff Accommodation Manager
* Assist with administrative tasks and maintain accurate records and inspection data
* Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, contractors and department managers regarding procedures and outcomes
What we're looking for
You're a practical, reliable and people-focused professional who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming living environment for others. You balance empathy and firmness when addressing property issues, and bring strong organisational skills to a fast-paced role.
To be successful, you'll need:
* Queensland Driver's Licence (Essential)
* Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Essential)
* Front Office or property management experience in a resort or accommodation environment (Desirable)
* Experience with computerised databases or hotel systems (Desirable)
* Excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication skills
* Patience, professionalism and the ability to liaise effectively across teams and cultures
