About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team in Tasmania.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing our pioneering reverse vending machine (RVM) installations and bulk processing equipment within their area of Tasmania. This includes:
* Servicing and maintaining installed equipment
* Reporting on service assignments and faults
* Installing kiosks and bulk processing equipment at new sites
* Providing excellent customer service to our partners and members of the public
* Analysing areas of potential improvement of products and reporting to the local service team
* Undertaking cleaning of equipment
Key Responsibilities:
* Electrical / Electronic Trade Certificate III OR Disconnect-Reconnect Certificate OR Appliance / Mechanical Trade background OR Comparable experience on electrical/ mechanical equipment
* Previous experience with operating systems, installing software, networking and mobile telecommunications
* Previous experience interacting face-to-face with customers
* Very strong diagnostic and analytical capabilities, especially in relation to mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment
* Experience in troubleshooting electronic equipment and ability to replace circuit boards, sensors and other electronic components of the RVM
* Unrestricted driver's license and willingness to submit a full driving history record
* Ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends
