City Centre Car Rentals is a rapidly growing vehicle rental and fleet services company based in South Guildford, WA. With increasing demand for our services and an expanding fleet, we are seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee the management, maintenance, and operational efficiency of our rental vehicle fleet.
Overview
We are looking for a capable and detail-oriented Fleet Manager to take ownership of the company's fleet management operations. This role will be responsible for coordinating multiple vehicles, ensuring proper procurement and maintenance processes, and improving operational efficiency across our fleet services.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations and overall management of the company's rental vehicle fleet
* Coordinate vehicle allocation, scheduling, and availability to ensure vehicles are prepared and ready for customer use
* Supervise and coordinate vehicle attendants to ensure vehicles are cleaned, inspected, and maintained to company standards
* Manage procurement of fleet vehicles, including supplier negotiation and acquisition planning
* Arrange regular servicing, maintenance, and repairs to keep vehicles in optimal operating condition
* Monitor vehicle utilisation, operational performance, and fleet operating costs
* Coordinate the disposal and resale of fleet vehicles, including depreciation tracking and fleet replacement planning
* Maintain compliance with vehicle registration, insurance, and relevant safety and transport regulations
Qualifications
* At least 3 years of relevant experience in fleet management, vehicle operations, or a similar role
* Proven experience coordinating multiple vehicles within a fleet environment
* Strong experience in procurement and maintenance of fleet vehicles
* Good understanding of vehicle compliance, servicing schedules, and operational planning
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and coordination abilities
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
