Job Summary
Are you ready to have influence in a unique and challenging healthcare environment? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced nurse to join the team at Alice Springs Correctional Centre. This role offers a rare opportunity to provide critical healthcare services in a secure facility, ensuring the well‐being of individuals in custody.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver comprehensive nursing care to individuals in a custodial setting.
* Perform health assessments, manage acute and chronic conditions, and respond to medical emergencies.
* Collaborate with correctional staff and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
* Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
* Uphold professional and ethical standards in a secure environment.
Skills and Experience
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
* 4–5 years of post‐graduate experience (experience in Primary Health or corrections highly regarded).
* Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a high‐pressure environment.
