The role will be focused on the assessment and subsequent development of the overall contract function within the entire organisation including the deployment of a new contract management system, the management of active/existing contracts and the development of risk mitigation strategies. Description The responsibilities of the role will be multi-faceted and thus will include but will not be limited to the following: Manage the deployment and subsequent integration of a new contract management system including the appropriate configuration, communication and ultimately the adoption of the system. Manage an existing suite of low to medium risk contractual relationships between commissioned suppliers and the organisation, with particular attention to legal risk, governance and compliance. The analysis of existing contracts; engaging in performance management as required, further developing key stakeholder relationships and the management of variations, claims etc to ensure adherence to agreed performance and commercial expectations Maintenance of accurate contract records and documentation in line with organisational standards. Profile The successful individual will demonstrate the following: Previous experience managing the implementation of a contract management system, ideally within a similar industry. Previous experience in a similar or equivalent position, ideally within a non-for-profit, government, or educational environment. The ability to facilitate complex negotiations with demonstrated commercial or operational outcomes.
