About the Role
The General Manager of Marketing is a pivotal leadership position that oversees the development and execution of a group-wide marketing strategy. This executive role involves shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of all consumer-facing marketing activity.
Key Responsibilities
* Brand and Strategy:
o Lead the development of a group-wide marketing strategy aligned to the business goals and evolving brand vision.
o Strengthen and evolve brand architecture across events, dining, precincts, and hospitality services.
* Campaigns and Content:
o Oversee all organic brand activity including social, digital, content, PR, communications, and in-venue marketing.
o Drive integrated campaigns across weddings, corporate and social events, dining, precinct launches, and seasonal activations.
o Ensure storytelling excellence across all channels: web, email, social, print, and experiential.
* Digital and CRM:
o Lead the website ecosystem, ensuring strong UX, SEO performance, and continual optimization.
o Lead CRM strategy including segmentation, lifecycle communications, automation, and performance reporting.
* PR and Partnerships:
o Oversee PR, media liaison, influencer partnerships, and story development.
o Collaborate closely with venue, culinary, and guest experience teams to amplify key moments and commercial priorities.
o Form close relationships with key community stakeholders to ensure alignment with the surrounding precincts.
