An exciting Nurse Practitioner candidacy at Benalla Health, combining advanced practice, strong mentorship and compassionate regional healthcare.
About the Role
Benalla Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Generalist Nurse Practitioner Candidate in a temporary, part‐time position (0.7 FTE) for up to two years. This role offers a supported and structured pathway toward Nurse Practitioner endorsement while making a meaningful impact on regional healthcare delivery.
The position combines both service delivery and dedicated developmental time, consistent with NMBA Nurse Practitioner Candidate requirements. You will work 0.6 FTE clinically across the Urgent Care Centre, Acute Ward and Morrie Evans Wing, providing advanced nursing care, clinical leadership and continuity of care for our community. A further 0.1 FTE supernumerary allocation is protected for Nurse Practitioner Candidate development, including education, supervision, portfolio requirements and progression against the NMBA Nurse Practitioner Standards for Practice.
Why Join Benalla Health
At Benalla Health, you will be supported to grow within a close‐knit, values‐driven regional health service. We are proud of our commitment to compassionate, culturally safe and person‐centred care, and to developing future clinical leaders. You will receive strong clinical supervision, structured mentorship and opportunities to contribute to service improvement while building your advanced practice capability.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse ready to shape their Nurse Practitioner future while delivering high‐quality care close to home.
