Position Overview Step into a high-performance manufacturing environment where precision meets power. As a Plastic Blow Moulder Operator, you'll be at the heart of Brickwood's production line-running advanced blow-moulding equipment to deliver high-quality plastic packaging with consistency, speed, and absolute attention to safety and detail. Key Responsibilities Run, fine-tune, and monitor blow moulding machines to hit top-tier output and quality. Carry out routine quality checks -weight, wall thickness, dimensions, visual standards. Execute machine start-ups, shutdowns, and smooth changeovers like a pro. Troubleshoot minor issues and escalate anything major to keep production flowing. Keep accurate logs of production, downtime, and quality checks. Load resins, colourants, and raw materials safely and efficiently. Work side-by-side with technicians, leading hands, and operators to smash daily targets. Maintain a spotless, safe, and compliant workspace following WHS, HACCP & GMP standards. Support preventative maintenance and routine machine checks. Assist with palletising, packing, and materials handling when required. Skills & Experience Required Hands-on experience in blow moulding, extrusion blow moulding, or injection blow moulding. Solid understanding of machine operation, tooling, and mould changeovers. Sharp eye for detail-strong quality assurance capabilities. Basic mechanical problem-solving and the ability to fix minor faults fast. Ability to follow production schedules and meet KPI expectations. Reliable communicator and team player with a strong work ethic. Forklift licence is a bonus but not essential. Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts when required. Physical & Safety Requirements Comfortable working on your feet in a high-pace production environment.
