Why Join Us?

We're looking for a hands-on leader with practical, on-the-ground experience to drive transformational ICT change in healthcare. This role is location-negotiable, but must be based within the Hunter New England Local Health District—specifically Tamworth, Manning or Charlestown. As this is a key leadership position, working on-site is essential to the role’s success.

Join a supportive team that is driving the force behind digital smart solutions for one of the biggest employers in the district!

Benefits

* Sustainable Healthcare initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement
* Monthly Allocated Days Off for better work-life balance
* 4 weeks annual leave and paid parental leave (for eligible employees)
* Salary packaging options up to $11,600 + novated leasing
* Fitness Passport for discounted gym memberships
* Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for staff and family well-being
* Opportunity to collaborate with a range of clinical and non-clinical professionals

About The Role

As a strategic and operational leader, you’ll oversee the design and implementation of ICT systems for major health redevelopment projects throughout the District. This role is hands-on and site-focused; you’ll need to regularly travel across the region and be embedded in the environments you're supporting.

You Will

* Develop and deliver ICT strategies across ‘greenfield’ and existing facility projects
* Build governance frameworks and define business and technical requirements
* Liaise closely with senior leadership and project teams to ensure delivery milestones are met
* Manage complex stakeholder relationships and high-value vendor partnerships

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a practical, results-driven professional with hands-on experience delivering complex ICT infrastructure projects—think networks, servers, telecommunications, and site readiness. A background in health or government settings is highly regarded.
