HILLS is seeking applications for an Early Learning Centre (ELC) Diploma Qualified Educator (including Before or After School Care & Vacation Care) commencing Term 2 Holidays 2026. 3 shifts per week with opportunity for additional Cert III hours (7.5 hours per shift).
HILLS is seeking applications for an Early Learning Centre (ELC) Diploma Qualified Educator (including Sunrise and/or Sunset Care & Vacation Care - 48 weeks per year) commencing Term 3 2025. 3 shifts (7.5 hours per shift) with opportunity for additional Cert III qualified shifts, by negotiation.
Cert III qualified educators who are working towards Diploma qualification are encouraged to apply.
Morning Open: 7:00am - 3:00pm
Afternoon Close: 10:00am - 6:00pm

The ELC is closed for two weeks over the Christmas Break and another two weeks of annual leave can be taken at the individual’s discretion, in consultation with the ELC Director (to ensure that a suitable replacement is available).
Role Purpose
The Diploma Qualified Educator plays a key role in delivering high-quality care and education to young children at HILLS ELC. Reporting to the ELC Teacher and ELC Director/Educational Leader, this educator supports inquiry-based learning programs aligned with the National Quality Framework, Reggio Emilia principles, nature pedagogy and the Christian values of our school. Pre-requisites & Qualifications
The ELC Diploma Qualified Educator must have:
* a minimum qualification of a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
* current Working with Children Check
* current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect Training (RRHAN-EC)
* current HLTAID012 “Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting” First Aid training.
* current Drivers Licence
