The Role
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Finance Transformation & Strategy to join our global finance team in Melbourne, Brisbane, or Sydney. The Senior Manager will lead the development and execution of a finance transformation strategy and blueprint, including implementing a next-generation ERP system. Key responsibilities include:
1. Identify, scope, and deliver finance transformation, organisation re-design, and change initiatives across global operations
2. Drive finance transformation and change management to enhance insight, efficiency, effectiveness, and control
3. Partner with Finance Process Owners to develop best-in-class processes and implement ERP solutions to improve business performance
4. Transform and improve finance and operational processes, such as Chart of Accounts, Financial Closing & Consolidation, Profitability & Cost Management, and Business Analytics
5. Support the implementation of SAP and other relevant technology platforms for large-scale multi-site ERP projects
6. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery
7. Act as a liaison between the business and Group Finance to ensure aligned understanding of information needs and challenges
About You
* 15+ years of experience, preferably within the Big Four or an engineering/construction consultancy
* Experience leading major finance transformations, change management, and stakeholder alignment
* Proficiency in data extraction, manipulation, and analysis using advanced techniques
* Strong ability to interpret and communicate complex information
* Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Ability to work across multiple projects and learn quickly
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Familiarity with SAP and D365
* Demonstrate SJ Group values, ethics, and conduct in all activities
