About the role
Improvision Group is seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team in Bathurst, NSW. As a Fulltime Upholsterer, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, creating high-quality furniture and soft furnishings. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What you'll be doing
* Cutting, assembling and finishing upholstered products according to detailed specifications
* Operating sewing machines, staple guns and other specialist equipment with precision and care
* Selecting and working with a variety of fabrics, foams and other materials to achieve the desired look and comfort
* Collaborating with the design team to ensure products meet quality and aesthetic standards
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area to support efficient production
* Identifying and troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the upholstery process
What we're looking for
* Minimum 5 years' experience as an Upholsterer, preferably in a manufacturing environment
* Strong technical skills in cutting, sewing, stapling and finishing upholstered products
* Ability to read and interpret detailed design specifications and technical drawings
* Eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Dexterity and physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
