Role Details
Routes: Collecting from our Customer network delivering to Visy sites in Brisbane and Gold Coast.
Locations: Based out of Gibson Island Depot.
Hours: AM 5am-7 start, 10‐12 hour shifts 5 days per week (optional Saturday work)
What you'll do
* Operating Heavy Rigid waste collection vehicles performing collections of recyclable materials from our network of Customers throughout Greater Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
* Conduct thorough pre‐trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
* Ensure timely and efficient collections and delivery of materials, maintaining adherence to schedules.
* Accurately complete in‐cab electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
* Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including fatigue management and chain of responsibility laws.
What You Will Bring
* A valid HR Licence with a minimum of 2 years' recent Australian driving experience.
* Provide a full 5‐year demerit point history report.
* Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
* A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
* Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
