Overview
We are currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators/Freight Loaders based in our Darwin depot at Palmerston. The position involves operating a forklift and loading and unloading general freight. Reporting directly to Yard Supervisor, this role requires good time management, excellent communication skills and the ability to accurately complete paperwork.
Responsibilities
Operate a forklift and load/unload general freight
Accurately complete paperwork
Qualifications
Current high risk forklift licence
Prior experience in transport, particularly general freight
Knowledge of protected work practices
Ability to work with a team
Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and Load Restraint legislation
