**About The Role**:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the successful warehousing and inventory management for our client. In addition, the Logistics Coordinator will ensure timely and accurate organisation of stock and transport, maintenance of booking orders and internal control procedures and provide both guidance and support to their peer(s). The position requires a high level of computer skills with accuracy and attention to detail, self-motivation and strong stakeholder management.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Manage stock control: monitor stock levels, confirm orders, retrieval and timely delivery of goods (loading and transferring)
- Responsible for reporting, updating and planning data stock movements from trucks to the freezers.
- Assisting the Warehouse Manager with the planning, organising and controlling of the warehouse operations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Planning, organising and controlling of particular client's operations.
- Monitor inventory tracking system(s) accuracy.
- Ensure inventory information is accurate, reliable and accessible.
- Maintain and develop professional relationships with all external stakeholders/ suppliers/ customers.
- Core business hours are Monday - Friday from 9.00am - 5.00pm
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in a similar role/capacity
- Experience in utilising WMS, particularly Microlistics would be advantageous.
- Good administration and customer service skills
- Solid computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (predominantly excel)
- Strong planning, coordinating and organisational skills.
- Ability to follow processes and procedures accurately.
- Hands-on approach with a high attention to detail
- Works well independently with minimum supervision and is also a team player.
