The Role:
* Provide strategic leadership, high-level advice, and direction on a state-wide basis in the development and management of PSCP. Develop, implement, and evaluate a strategic and business framework, policies, systems, and processes to support the delivery of quality services.
* Advise on current and emerging trends in cancer prevention and control, particularly population screening, at organisational, state, and national levels.
* Oversee operational activities and ensure financial health by effectively managing resources, budgets, and compliance to maintain efficiency and maximize impact.
* Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture by supporting and inspiring staff, promoting professional growth, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams to enhance performance and job satisfaction.

Details of appointment:
Permanent, full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.
$170,409 to $188,400 per annum + employer 11.5% superannuation contribution.
* Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
You’ll have access to salary packaging, including a range of benefits such as living expenses up to $9,010, $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year, and other benefits if eligible.

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
Tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in the management and delivery of health services, preferably population-based screening programs.
Desirable criteria include:
* Current Driver's Licence.
