**About the role**
Working as a member of our Behaviour Support team, the Lead Behaviour Practitioner will provide clinical leadership to Behaviour Practitioners in the provision of sustainable, quality and evidence-informed services for clients on the autism spectrum and their families. In collaboration with the Business Unit Lead, this role provides opportunities to establish new services to support our clients and families and to adapt current services to ensure best practices, in line with the latest research.
This opportunity would suit an 'Advanced' or 'Specialist' Behaviour Support Practitioner with experience providing clinical support to early career Behaviour Support Practitioners, including clinical supervision, Positive Behaviour Support Plan reviews, and facilitating professional training & development.
This role is being offered on a permanent full-time basis commencing ASAP and can be based at either Tonsley or Elizabeth. Regular travel between Autism SA office locations will be required.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Developmental Education, or another related allied-health field.
- Current registration of membership of the relevant Australian professional association.
- Registration as an 'Advanced' or 'Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner' under the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework.
- DHS Working with Children Clearance (WWCC paid workers);
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (paid workers);
- National Police Check (NPC)
- Full COVID-19 Vaccinations (including booster).
