We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Programme Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sailing and fishing, be able to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, and possess strong leadership skills to manage a team of volunteers.
Key Responsibilities
* Volunteer Management: Recruit, induct, and train volunteers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
* Presentation and Promotion: Develop and deliver presentations, marketing materials, and program promotions to effectively communicate with stakeholders and promote our services.
* Funding Opportunities: Research and identify potential funding sources to support the continuation of our programs.
* Customer Support: Collaborate with people with disabilities, their families, and support workers to provide a supportive and inclusive environment.
* Maintenance and Upkeep: Ensure the proper maintenance and upkeep of equipment and assets to guarantee a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
* Safety and Risk Management: Implement measures to ensure a supported, safe, and fun on-water experience for all participants.
The successful candidate will require an NDIS screening clearance, Working with Children's check, COVID vaccination, and relevant experience in the disability or community sector.
