The Role
We are looking for an experienced, proactive Park Manager who excels at balancing day-to-day operations with operational planning. The ideal candidate will lead a varied and committed team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while driving occupancy and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
* Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of park management, including compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Administrative Oversight: Manage rosters, bookings (knowledge of RMS or similar systems), debtor collections, and compliance with legislation. Attend Operational meetings within the business to stay abreast of changes and updates.
* Leadership & Team Building: Motivate and guide your team to maintain high service standards, ensuring a supportive and engaging work culture.
* Revenue Management: Implement strategies to optimise bookings and manage financial performance, including budget oversight and cost control.
* Guest Experience: Foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring satisfaction and a memorable stay for short term and longer term.
* Sustainability: Champion eco-friendly practices that reduce the park’s environmental impact.
* Maintenance Coordination: Ensure the park is well-maintained, supporting both grounds work and facility upkeep.
What we are looking For
* Experienced Manager: At least 3+ years in management or related operational roles in tourism and hospitality or an aligned industry.
* Leadership Skills: Proven ability to inspire, manage, and develop staff to meet high service and operational standards.
* Technical Expertise: Proficiency in booking systems, technology, compliance, and WHS practices.
* Hands-On Approach: Willingness to engage in both managerial and on-the-ground tasks.
* Strong Communicator: Effective at collaborating with senior leaders and aligning with company goals.
* Problem Solver: Demonstrated ability to manage issues promptly and effectively, maintaining smooth park operations.
Qualifications
•Relevant experience in Management or Business Administration.
•Current First Aid Certificate and valid Driver’s License (National Police Check required).
•Knowledge of legislative frameworks and compliance requirements is essential.
