As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of infrastructure development. Your expertise will be instrumental in conducting field investigations and client interviews to determine work scope and cost estimates for civil/structural aspects of projects.
You will lead design, development, modification, evaluation, and constructability reviews of civil/structural components and processes. Your technical acumen will ensure that the unique and complex requirements of a project's civil/structural aspects are met.
This role requires a seasoned professional with a full understanding of civil engineering principles and practices. You will need to be able to apply your knowledge to resolve a wide range of issues creatively and effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or an international equivalent and 15+ years of relevant experience. You will also need to be registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) or RPEQ in Australia.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Civil Engineering discipline expertise
* Advanced knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, road design, and pavement design
* Experience in designing structures using steel, wood, masonry, and concrete
* Ability to determine the appropriate use of structural elements based on load or stress requirements
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
