About the role
You will provide advanced clinical services across a broad range of acute and ambulatory care settings while leading and developing physiotherapy services within the North West Hospital and Health Service.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high‐level generalist physiotherapy services across inpatient and outpatient settings including medical, surgical, ICU, ED, paediatrics, maternity and outreach services.
* Provide professional and clinical leadership, supporting service development, quality improvement and evidence‐based practice.
* Supervise, mentor and educate physiotherapy staff, students and Allied Health Assistants, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.

* Eligible health practitioners accrue an additional three days professional development leave per annum, for a total of six days professional development leave per annum.
* Eligible health practitioners working in designated remote areas receive a professional development allowance of $3,****** per annum.
* Category D rural and remote incentive allowance of $****** per annum.

Requirements
* Relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
* C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
* Pre‐employment screening will be conducted, including criminal history checks.
* VPD risk role may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
* A period of probation may apply.
