Workers Compensation Claims Professional
We are seeking a skilled Workers Compensation Claims Professional to join our team based in Port Kembla NSW. This role involves providing support to injured employees, helping them navigate recovery while ensuring compliance with self-insured obligations.
This position will make a genuine difference, improving outcomes for people and the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing claims from initial notification through to resolution, liaising with employees and managers to drive return-to-work outcomes, providing advice to leaders, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, and collaborating with colleagues and external providers to deliver effective outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you will require a strong understanding of NSW workers compensation legislation, effective communication and influencing skills, a customer-service mindset, sound technical capability, and experience working with payroll systems, claims/injury management systems, Microsoft Office, and workers compensation codes.
