Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist who's ready to step into a leadership role and make a meaningful impact. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing the Allied Health Network while shaping the future of Occupational Therapy services within a supportive, values-driven environment. You'll be empowered to lead with autonomy, influence service delivery, and nurture a strong, positive team culture.
In this full time role, you'll oversee the delivery of high-quality, safe, and innovative Occupational Therapy services while working closely with the broader leadership team on workforce planning, recruitment, and strategic direction. You'll drive learning, development, and continuous improvement across the department, while developing policies and procedures that support best practice and long‑term growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of safe, effective, efficient, and innovative Occupational Therapy clinical services
* Manage and support the Allied Health Network and Occupational Therapy team
* Provide supervision, mentorship, and professional development to the OT team
* Lead workforce planning and recruitment activities
* Develop, implement, and review departmental goals, policies, and procedures
* Participate in quarterly organisational strategic planning days
* Drive and contribute to quality improvement initiatives across the department
* Promote and preserve a positive, collaborative, and high‑performing team culture
* Attend practice meetings and relevant professional seminars
* Support the resolution of client feedback and complaints alongside senior leaders
* Assist with OT marketing, promotion, and service development initiatives
* Support documentation and administrative requirements related to practice services
About you
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Advanced clinical reasoning and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate programs effectively
* Knowledge of OT best practice, policies, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
* Current AHPRA registration
* Relevant Occupational Therapy qualifications
* Valid driver's licence
* Ability to obtain a Police Check, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check
* COVID vaccination history
Desirable
* Experience working within an NDIS community setting
* Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent experience
