RCR Mining Technologies is seeking multiple Trades Assistants to join our team at our Welshpool Workshop on a Full-time Casual basis. These hands‐on workshop‐based roles support mechanical and electrical maintenance activities, along with basic welding, fabrication, and occasional rigging work.
About the Role
In this role, you will assist tradespeople with day-to-day maintenance tasks while contributing to a safe, efficient, and well‐organised workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with mechanical and electrical maintenance work
* Perform basic welding, fabrication and grinding tasks
* Support rigging activities as required
* Operate forklifts and assist with material handling
* Maintain a strong focus on safety and housekeeping
Skills, Experience & Requirements
To be successful, you will have:
* Current LF Forklift Licence with practical experience
* Basic welding and fabrication experienceExperience working in an industrial workshop environmentBasic rigging experience (RB ticket preferred)
* Ability to perform physically demanding manual work
* A strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork
* Good communication skills and the ability to work in a diverse team
