Community Communications Officer Role
This position focuses on effectively communicating and engaging stakeholders to support a community wellbeing project. The successful candidate will develop and deliver internal and external communications, conduct research and analysis, build programs, and support report development.
The role requires passion for community wellbeing and experience in communications, resource development, and research. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate educational information are essential.
The ideal candidate will have qualifications in community development, health promotion, communications, education, or project administration, along with commensurate work experience. Demonstrated experience in communications and resource development is also required.
A strong research and analytical background, combined with high-level interpersonal and written communication skills, will enable the candidate to succeed in this position. Experience working in cross-cultural settings, including with First Nations people, and understanding cultural safety principles are highly valued.
The Community Communications Officer will be part of a team environment and must be able to work independently. A current driver's license is also required.
