About The Role
We are currently looking for nurses (full-time and part-time) to join our private radiology nursing team in the Geelong region. As a Medical Imaging Nurse, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of nursing care for both inpatients and outpatients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures. This role services both private hospital and community-based clinics, offering a diverse and interesting range of patient presentations.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing pre, peri and post-examination care for patients undergoing General X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and Fluoroscopy.
Ensuring high-standard care for both inpatients and outpatients during radiological procedures.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a specialised environment.
On-the-job training in radiology will be provided; prior experience is desired but not essential.

About You
Current AHPRA registration
COVID vaccination essential as per Victorian Government requirements
Strong patient-centred care approach with the ability to build effective patient relationships
Cannulation qualification will be required; training support will be provided to achieve this outcome
Strong organisational, communication, interpersonal and time-management skills
Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
