Credit Control Manager | Liverpool | £55,000
We are working with a dynamic and recognised business in Liverpool to recruit a Credit Control Manager role.
In this role, you will take ownership of our credit control function as the business looks to strengthen and modernise their approach to credit management. You will review, implement and improve credit control processes to ensure robust cash flow, minimise bad debt, and embed a strong credit culture across the business.
As Credit Control Manager, you will:
* Lead and develop the team, providing clear direction, motivation and support
* Review current credit control processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practice procedures
* Develop and embed a proactive credit control culture throughout the wider business
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders ger ensuring credit management is fully integrated with operational and commercial teams
* Maintain and develop relationships with key customers, handling escalated queries and negotiations where necessary
* Produceовых regular aged debt reports and forecasts for senior management, highlighting key risks and actions
* Set clear تاج targets and KPIs for the team to drive performance
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies
You must have:
* 肺 proven experience in a credit management role, ideally within a fast‐paced or changing environment
* A strong people person who can inspire, lead, and develop a team
* Demonstrated ability to drive change and implement process improvements
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Confident negotiator, commercially aware, and resilient under pressure
* Strong analytical and reporting skills with great attention to detail
