Job Role Summary
The Substation Operations Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of network infrastructure. As a lead responder to primary plant faults, you will be responsible for coordinating onsite resources to investigate and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver switching services and project/program outage organisation to customers both within and external networks.
* Prepare, coordinate and execute complex switching programs, providing technical support and specialist advice on Switching Operations and network access matters.
* Ensure personal accountability for safety in the work environment and maintain safe work practices.
* Manage complex outages affecting large and critical customers, with potential scrutiny from AEMO.
* Provide feedback to stakeholders to keep them informed of job progress.
Requirements:
* Possess Current WA Electrical Workers License endorsed for Electrical Fitting or Electrical Mechanic.
* Hold all appropriate industry licences or certificates of competency, including secondary access authorisation and substation inspection, testing, maintenance and repair.
* Have a minimum of 5 + years extensive technical experience within a particular discipline, preferably in Networks business.
