The OpportunityThe Cadet Technical Officer is responsible for gaining the experience and qualifications necessary to confidently undertake civil engineering works in the areas of strategic planning, construction and maintenance.The position requires the individual to develop skills over time to achieve the next level of employment as a Project Manager / Civil Engineer.About YourselfA person in this position will need to have completed secondary education to a Grade 12 level with an ATAR capable of gaining entry to the above-mentioned course at a tertiary institution, or have already commenced the above-mentioned course at a tertiary institution, or be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience.Current C Class Driver's Licence.Undertake and complete a Bachelor of Engineering Science (Civil) course from a recognised university.Completing an Associate Diploma/Degree may be undertaken in the first instance after consultation with the Senior Works Manager.Benefits of Working for WDRCWork / life balanceWe understand the importance of balance.
