About the role
AUSTAM HOMES' is seeking an experienced Storeman/Forklift Driver to join our team in Tamworth, NSW. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse and logistics functions.
What you'll be doing
1. Receive, unload, and store incoming goods and materials
2. Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment to move and locate stock
3. Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing orders accurately and efficiently
4. Maintain stock records and inventory control systems
5. Ensure the warehouse and storage areas are kept clean, tidy and well-organised
6. Assist with general warehouse duties as required
What we're looking for
1. At least 2 years' experience as a Storeman or Forklift Driver in a manufacturing, transport or logistics environment
2. Forklift licence and experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
6. Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks
