The Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) is the Northern Territory Government’s central corporate services agency. It delivers shared corporate and digital services across government using a whole‑of‑government shared services approach.
DCDD’s Across Government Systems (AGS) team supports and maintains government-wide business systems. These are systems used by everyone in the Northern Territory Government (NTG), including:
• Human resources
• Fleet
• Procurement
• Finance
• Records
• Service and identity management
• Asset management
AGS currently has a vacancy for a Senior Manager Application Systems (SA01) in the Darwin team. As a Senior Manager Application Systems, you will be responsible for overseeing corporate systems management, prioritise and identify system improvements, and implement resource management strategies for ongoing business as usual and project activities. You will also need to manage contractors, contracts, and work schedule allocation, in a DevOps framework.
Your key duties include:
• Provide constructive leadership and effectively manage systems development teams, resources, projects, and contracts with a focus on continuous improvement, high-level professionalism, and innovation.
• Offer advice to a range of stakeholders regarding business systems including design, integration, business solutions, and change management processes.
• Ensure effective governance frameworks, business, and reporting systems in all areas of responsibility.
• Develop and maintain effective collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Prepare high-level correspondence including Ministerial, submissions, and reports.
• Actively participate as a member of the Division, contributing innovative ideas and solutions to all aspects of Division business.
