* Base Salary Range: $68,478 - $102,240 p.a
* In addition to base salary, this position attracts Superannuation, Leave Loading and Salary Sacrificing Benefits (salary packaging).

Service:

Allied and Community Health Service

Our Allied and Community Health Teams are multi-disciplinary teams who work together towards the common goal of improving health outcomes of our community members. Services are based in Port Augusta and Whyalla, with regular outreach clinics held in Roxby Downs, Quorn, Hawker, Maree and Leigh Creek. We offer a wide range of centre-based, in-home and community-based services to people of all ages and tailor our services to best meet our client needs. * Access to contextual Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Training (specific to the region) and access to Aboriginal Liaison Officers and Aboriginal Health Practitioners
* Links with Rural Support Service (RSS) – for useful resources and professional support and/or Clinical Governance

About the Role:

Under the supportive guidance of the Regional Clinical Senior Social Worker, the Regional Social Worker (AHP1)plays a vital role in delivering a broad, integrated range of health services tailored to meet the unique needs of the local community. Working as part of a dynamic, multi-professional team - including health professionals and service providers from other sectors - you'll use a blend of preventative, early intervention, therapeutic, and evaluative approaches to improve wellbeing and create lasting, positive outcomes.

As a Social Worker (AHP2), you'll apply your clinical experience and growing generalist or specialist knowledge to plan, deliver, and evaluate a broad range of services tailored to community needs. Working with reduced clinical direction, you may also contribute to the supervision and development of less experienced allied health professionals, assistants, and students. As a key member of a multi-professional team, you'll collaborate across health and community sectors to deliver preventative, early intervention, and therapeutic services that make a lasting impact.

About You:

AHP1:

* Must hold a recognised qualification within the Social Work profession and be eligible for full membership of the relevant allied health Professional Association. For those disciplines requiring Registration, all requirements to maintain current registration must be fulfilled. For self-regulated professions it is desirable to participate in the professional associations accredited continuous professional development program.
* Deliver a broad range of established clinical services.
* Apply sound professional judgment with support as needed.
* Provide individual, group, and health promotion services.
* Effectively manage and prioritise your workload.

AHP2:

* Must hold a recognised qualification within a Social Work Profession and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association. For those professions requiring Registration, all requirements to obtain and maintain current registration must be fulfilled. For self-regulated professions it is desirable to participate in the professional association accredited continuing professional development program.
* Apply expertise and growing clinical competence to support diverse client needs.
* Exercise judgment in adapting established methods and techniques.
* Deliver a broad range of clinical and consultative services across settings.
* Manage your workload and support team resource planning and prioritisation.

Applicant Information:

* The temporary position is a part time vacancy, working 60 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
