About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Worker to contribute to the ongoing development of new youth mental health services in Devonport, Tasmania, working alongside innovative team leaders and consultant psychiatrists. Opening date: 21 Nov 2025 12:00am Closing date: 11 Jan 2026 11:55pm Key Responsibilities: Demonstrate clinical leadership experience within a designated program area, region, or statewide stream. Possess expertise in complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies, including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programs. Thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment, providing support and consultation to other team members as required. Act as a role model, delivering comprehensive, developmentally appropriate, and trauma-informed biopsychosocial mental health assessments and therapies. Contribute to the implementation of the associated model of care, operational service model, and clinical governance requirements. Benefits: $123,717 to $138,296 per annum plus 11.5% super Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum Relocation support: $15,000 for overseas applicants and $10,000 for interstate. Demonstrate extensive experience in the mental health or related sector, with a focus on working with young people and their families/carers.
