Chef Team Leader Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Team Leader to lead our culinary team.
* Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations, including meal preparation and service.
* Oversee meal service coordination, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of meal services.
* Ensure high standards of kitchen hygiene and presentation, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Contribute to our Food Safety Program, identifying hazards, applying controls and documenting incidents as required.
* Assist in mobilisation of staff, equipment and facilities during emergency situations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Australian recognised Certificate III (or higher) in Commercial Cookery.
* Previous experience in a similar leadership role.
* Current Australian Driver's Licence.
* Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards, relevant legislation, and statutory obligations.
* Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
