ABOUT THE ROLE This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Reconciliation Officer or Retail Banking Officer with strong reconciliation skills to join a busy finance team. You'll take ownership of daily retail banking activities across multiple locations, ensuring accurate cash and EFTPOS reconciliations while supporting store teams with banking and financial queries. Working closely with the Senior AR Officer, you'll play a critical role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting key month-end processes. DUTIES Manage daily retail banking reconciliations across multiple store locations Reconcile cash, EFTPOS and banking transactions accurately and efficiently Maintain deposit books and bank bag inventory records Coordinate banking requirements for new retail store openings Liaise with retail teams to resolve operational and financial enquiries Support month-end close activities and reporting requirements Conduct monthly regression testing and process checks Maintain accurate financial records and documentation SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Previous experience in a retail banking, accounts receivable or finance role Strong reconciliation experience with high-volume transactions Advanced Excel skills with proven ability to perform complex reconciliations Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Confident communication skills and ability to build relationships across teams Accounting qualifications or studies in progress will be highly regarded BENEFITS Modern office facilities including onsite gym and multiple kitchen spaces Free onsite parking Potential hybrid working flexibility Opportunity to gain experience within a large retail environment Supportive and collaborative finance team Exposure to broad retail banking and reconciliation processes OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS At Lotus People, we are committed to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion.
