We are an award-winning trades business that provides high-quality plumbing, gas, and water filtration services to government, mining, and agricultural clients, earning a strong reputation for safety, reliability, and exceptional workmanship.
We want you to join our team as an experienced Operations Manager to help us scale the business to $10 million and beyond.Our current annual revenue exceeds $2 million, and we have a team of 6 qualified plumbers, 1 apprentice, and 2 admin staff. Are you the person fit for this challenge?
This is a hands-on leadership role in which you'll oversee operations, lead our team, and drive efficiency through robust systems, processes, and structure. You'll work closely with the company director to manage day-to-day performance while implementing the tools and practices that support long-term growth.

I have got the business as far as I can with my experience in this role. I know the business's potential; if we don't fill this role with the correct person, the business will suffer. I want a leader who can work alongside me and continue to push the organisation's growth, ensuring the operations remain sound
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing daily operations, scheduling, and resource management
* Leading and mentoring a team of field and office staff
* Supporting business strategy and contributing to company growth initiatives
* Job costing and tendering
* Streamlining and improving business systems and workflows
* Ensuring safety, quality, and compliance across all projects
* Implementing and utilising platforms including Simpro, Xero, Excel, and SafetyCulture (iAuditor)
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in an operations or management role, ideally within trades, construction, or service industries
* Minimum 5-7 years of operations or management experience
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Solid understanding of financials, job costing, tendering ,and reporting
* Proficiency with Simpro, Xero, Excel, Podium, and SafetyCulture
* Expert/Admin level proficiency with Simpro software
* Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities
* A proactive, organised, and results-driven mindset
* Australian work rights required
What's on offer:
* $130,000 – $160,000 + Super, depending on experience
* Full-time, permanent position based in South West WA, Hybrid work location.
