We strive to deliver our services as we would like them to be delivered to ourselves.About the RoleWe are currently seeking qualified Part-Time and Casual Community Care Employees who will work independently and are responsible for providing services to our elderly consumers in the community. These roles involve supporting consumers' independence in daily activities and living skills such as personal care, domestic duties, transport, shopping, respite, and community access. Your goal will be to help our consumers live the life they choose.To be considered for this position, candidates must have:Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalentCurrent First Aid CertificateAvailability to work at least three days a weekAbility to work cooperatively and respectfully with consumers, families, and co-workersA genuine interest in helping the elderlyAbility to follow care plans and task lists for each consumerCapacity to perform home care tasks satisfactorily within guidelines (e.g., Manual Handling Work Instructions)Knowledge of WHS procedures and safe work practicesUnderstanding of professional boundaries with clientsCurrent driver’s license, registered, insured, and reliable vehicleReasonable physical fitness, health, and resilience for the roleEvidence of seasonal influenza vaccinationPolice Check suitable for aged care employmentThe hourly rate ranges from $32.70 to $34.64, plus relevant allowances, loadings, and superannuation.To ApplyPlease email your resume and cover letter detailing your suitability and availability to positionsvacant@nccca.com.au.
