We’re hiring a Senior Data Scientist to play a critical role in delivering MMM and marketing effectiveness models our customers rely on for real decisions.
This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who owns outcomes, moves fast, and gets satisfaction from shipping work that actually gets used.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Build and ship MMMs used for real decisions — taking customers from messy, incomplete data to production-ready MMMs that inform planning, forecasting, and optimisation.
* Own customer delivery end-to-end — run customer projects independently, scoping problems, making trade-offs, hitting deadlines, and getting models live without babysitting.
* Translate business questions into models — work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to turn commercial questions into robust modelling approaches and explain results clearly.
* Partner with Platform & Engineering — collaborate to productionise models, improve automation, and design solutions that scale beyond one-off projects.
* Continuously improve how we deliver — standardise approaches, reuse patterns, and automate repetitive work to increase reliability and team velocity.

What You Bring (non-negotiable)
* Deep, hands-on experience in MMM / marketing effectiveness
* Proven experience shipping MMMs into production that were used for real decisions
* Strong Bayesian / probabilistic modelling foundation
* Comfortable owning the full lifecycle: data → model → deployment → monitoring
* Ability to independently run customer projects end-to-end
* Strong customer lens and commercial mindset
What Will Make You Especially Successful At Prophet
* Clean, production-grade Python (not notebook-only); PyMC preferred
* Comfort working with messy, incomplete, real-world customer data
* Experience standardising or templatising modelling approaches
* Familiarity with modern data stacks (GCP, DuckDB, orchestration, etc.)
* Startup or consulting experience where speed mattered
* Experience mentoring others or lifting team standards
* Uses modern AI tools to move faster without cutting corners
