12 month Replacement Contract Role
Woodcroft College is seeking an experienced and passionate Middle School Physical Education and Health Teacher to join our College. This 12 month replacement contract role is responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to Middle School students.
The ability to teach PE at a SACE level will be highly regarded.

What you'll be doing
* Designing and delivering engaging PE and Health lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students
* Developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies to foster students' skills, understanding and overall academic growth
* Assessing student progress, providing feedback and maintaining detailed records
* Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the ongoing development of the PE and Health curriculum
* Participating in school events, professional development opportunities and other extracurricular activities
What we're looking for
* Current SA Teacher Registration and a bachelor's degree in Education with PE and Health specialisation
* Ability to teach PE at a SACE level will be highly regarded
* Minimum two years' experience teaching PE and Health in a secondary school setting
* Demonstrated ability to create engaging, student-centred lessons and effectively manage a classroom
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
* Strong organisational skills and a commitment to continuous professional development
* Knowledge of Australian Curriculum for PE and Health secondary schooling
* Demonstrated ability to assess student progress and use data to inform teaching practice
