Location and Availability
* Location: Residential homes and the community in and around the Kingston municipality
* Multiple permanent part time positions available
* Average of five hours each day over a four- or five-day week
Compensation
* Band 1: $32.44 per hour plus superannuation (non-qualified)
* Band 2: $33.80 per hour plus superannuation (qualified)
Opportunities On Offer
* Band 1: Domestic duties only – no formal qualifications required
* Band 2: Cert III qualified or Cert IV qualified (desirable)
About The Role
Our role involves providing compassionate, personalised support to Kingston residents who are elderly, frail, or living with disabilities. We deliver essential in-home care services designed to help individuals maintain their independence and quality of life.
Your Responsibilities
* Providing domestic assistance to clients in their homes (such as light housework)
* Helping clients prepare meals
* Assisting clients in accessing the community (e.g., accompanying them to the supermarket)
* Providing personal care
Your Skills And Experience
You will bring exceptional interpersonal skills to foster authentic relationships with our clients. You should be kind, compassionate, and dedicated to ensuring that our most vulnerable community members feel safe, respected, and heard.
Qualifications
* Level 2 First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Current driver\'s licence and your own registered and insured vehicle
* Employee Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care/Disability (for Band 2 role)
All applicants must have the physical capacity to undertake homecare tasks, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
